Braces

This last Thursday (11/19/09), I got my braces taken off after 3 years of having them on and i've brushed them twice since then....jk. It feels great having them off and being able to eat a lot of stuff i couldnt eat with them on and havent had in those 3 years. This Thanksgiving without them is going to be fun.

Bye-Bye Summer

Only have a couple days of summer left and then its back to school. Im going to be a junior this year. Im looking forward to a couple classes but everything else im not big on and of course the classes im looking forward to are cooking and team sports. Oh yea and lets not forget Swim Season. Hopefully i will be on the varsity team this year the chances are good but you never know.

Bass

So i have been playing bass for a little over a week now and i will be playing this Thursday for the first time at Uturn. Am i nervous? Oh yea. Do I think i will do good? Heck yes. How do i know? Joe my instructor says im doing great and should be able to play Thursday with no problems.

Long Time

Been a long time since i have posted a blog so here it is. I havent been doing much lately with school being out. Its been pretty boring for me. Tomorrow though will be a lot better. Im going to Uturn early to start my bass lessons and then get to attend the service the fabulous Big Tim(Big Poppy) has planned. I cant wait.

Drivers Permit

Yesterday i got to go take my test for my permit. I was really nervous when I saw all of those people that were failing. Finally my turn was up and I looked at the first question and said to myself..."wow, this is easy". I did notice that on some questions if you didn't read all the answers then you probably would have gotten it wrong. Overall I thought the test was the easiest test I have ever taken. Now all I have to do is take one session of behind the wheel training and i am allowed to drive around with anyone over 25 that has a valid license.

Big Fall

Last night I was helping put insulation in the walls of our new den. Around 8:30 I took a break and went in the kitchen, so i bent over the sink to wash my hands to get rid of the fiber glass and next thing I know I heard a thud and my Grandpa Butch ran over to me to help. He said I hit my head on the cabinets by my sink, but my head didn't hurt. So Grandpa ran and got a wet towel to soak my face in. Later my parents were home and my dad asked me a few questions and I then found out that I probably passed out because I was dehydrated and was inhaling fiber glass. That is the very first time I have ever passed out so I was kind of scared. Thanks for helping me Grandpa.

There and Gone

Most people know that I am on the High School swim team. It seems like the season has just started and now it is just about over. This Thursday is my very last meet of the season and it is at El Cajon High. Next week I have to go to leagues all week. I do have my birthday off though and then the next day I have to swim in the league finals. I think I will actually miss swimming every day.

Fast and Furious

Today I went and saw Fast & Furious with Brandon. It was actually a lot better than I thought it would be. I did not like the seats though, they were solid seats with hard headrests. Ouch my butt was hurting when it was over.

The Pilot

As some of you have heard, my mom took the pilot in to get an oil change yesterday and the crew ran it into a pole. It wasn't scratched up too bad there is just a couple dents by the left tail light. So while they are fixing it we got a rental car. We got a Chevy Impala, I'll tell ya this thing is nice.I would probably rather drive this thing than the pilot.Here is a picture of what our rental looks like.

Hanging with my cousin

It seems like its been forever since i got to talk with my older cousin Jimmy. The last couple of days I got the opportunity to and had a blast. We went and had Mexican food at Albert's Taco Shop, wimpy little Jimmy couldn't finish his burrito, and then last night we went to the Boardwalk and played a couple games of Laser Tag against a group of little kids. The first game we got cheated on, but the second game we cheated right back by putting our jackets on over our vests. Those little punks didn't even know what hit them. Man I miss those old days when our families went up to Bishop every year and got to hang out. Here is a pic of him at Bishop a long time ago.

Easter

Had a great Easter today. We had two great Easter services today at New Life Central and New Life Rancho San Diego and had about 370 people total attend. After the services we went to my Uncle Dan's house for Easter lunch. I really enjoyed it. We all love spending time together even my Great-Grandma Pete.

New Eyes

Yesterday I went to the optometrist to get myself a new set of eyes and now I have my first pair of contacts. I'm loving them. Now no more of these guys.
